26 :: Deciduous Tree



Jaana: The national tree of Finland is the Birch, the Silver Birch, to be precise.

Kia: Oak, taken in Linlithgow (birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots), whose coat of arms shows a black greyhound chained to an oak tree.

  1. Lovely trees! In looking back at my old photos, I realized I don't seem to take photos of trees until fall when the leaves change color. LOL

    1. Trees are indeed charming when leaves change color, but we both also love all the different shades of green they can have in spring and summer. And some are so beautifully shaped that they might look very 'photogenic' even leafless. :)

  2. love trees, but my favorite tree is the Oak tree.... with her history and beauty, I picture the tree of life as a mighty Oak tree ;)... oh, can I move into that castle ;)
