70 :: Bike Sign

Jaana: Oulu is known as the biking city of Finland. We've got the country's most extensive network of bike/walk routes (over 600 km), and you can see people biking around the city all year round, in every weather.

Kia: The weather in Scotland is not all that reliable, however there are many cycling enthusiasts who, come rain or shine, get out there and enjoy the beauty of the wilderness. Or just ride to work.

  2. We have places here where they've used old railroad beds to make walking/biking paths. It's a great way to get out and enjoy the countryside! :0)

    1. Jaana: Most of our railway network is still in use, but it would be wonderful if they turned the few discontinued routes into walk/bike routes like overthere.

      Kia: It's the same here, hundreds of miles of old railway corridors have been converted into cycling routes.
